OGUN AMOTEKUN BEGINS 2026 RECRUITMENT SCREENING ACROSS FIVE CENTRES




The Ogun State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun Corps, has announced the commencement of screening for applicants in its 2026 recruitment exercise across five designated centres in the state.

According to a statement issued by the Corps Headquarters in Abeokuta on Thursday, the screening exercise will begin on May 18 and end on June 6, 2026, as part of efforts to recruit qualified personnel capable of enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening security across Ogun State.

The agency disclosed that applicants from Yewa North, Imeko-Afon and Abeokuta North local government areas would be screened at the Alaye of Ayetoro’s Palace between May 18 and May 20, while candidates from Yewa South, Ipokia, Ado-Odo/Ota and Ifo would undergo screening at Olu Palace, Ilaro, from May 21 to May 23.

The statement added that applicants from Sagamu, Remo North and Ikenne would be screened at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, between May 25 and May 26.

It further stated that candidates from Ijebu Ode, Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ogun Waterside, Ijebu North-East and Odogbolu would appear for screening at the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Secretariat from June 1 to June 3.

Similarly, applicants from Abeokuta South, Odeda, Ewekoro and Obafemi-Owode local government areas are expected at the Staff Development Centre, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, between June 4 and June 6 for the final phase of the exercise.

The Corps advised applicants to check their names at their respective local government secretariats and Amotekun offices from May 14 ahead of the exercise, urging them to report to their screening centres by 8 a.m. with valid means of identification and other required documents.
