The Coordinator of the office of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Lady Helen Eno Obareki, yesterday received the Chairman/CEO of the Gender Education, Engagement, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Program G4EP, Dr Judith Ogbara, in her office.
After the initial pleasantries, they settled down to discussions centered around advancing strategic partnerships for sustainable development, as well as potential areas of collaboration between G4EP - a Federal Government initiative created to empower the girl child in Nigeria, under the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Matters, and the Golden Initiative for All, GIFA, where Lady Helen Eno Obareki holds sway, as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The interactions between the duo hinged on the vision and objectives of GIFA, a people-centered initiative with eight thematic areas, which is focused on enhancing family lives, signaling the commencement of a collaboration that will lead to designing and implementing impactful programmes that directly address the needs of families in rural communities.
Lady Obareki also received a delegation from the Arit Fuller Foundation led by their MD and Founder, Amb. Arit Fuller Harris where she reaffirmed her commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that drive meaningful change and improve the quality of life of Akwa Ibom people.
