The Golden Initiative for All (GIFA) has recorded a major boost as efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships for sustainable development continue to gather momentum in Akwa Ibom State.
The Coordinator, Office of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Helen Eno Obareki, received the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Gender Education, Engagement, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Programme (G4EP), Judith Ogbara, in her office, where both parties held discussions on collaboration opportunities.
The meeting focused on advancing partnerships between G4EP, a Federal Government initiative under the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Matters aimed at empowering the girl child and GIFA, a people-centred programme championed by the First Lady’s office.
Discussions centred on aligning the vision and objectives of both initiatives to design and implement impactful programmes targeted at improving family wellbeing, particularly in rural communities.
GIFA, which operates across eight thematic areas, is designed to enhance family life and promote inclusive development across the state.
Speaking during the engagement, Obareki reaffirmed her commitment to building strong partnerships that would deliver sustainable and people-oriented interventions for residents of Akwa Ibom.
In a related development, she also received a delegation from the Arit Fuller Foundation, led by its Managing Director and Founder, Arit Fuller Harris.
She reiterated her resolve to collaborate with credible organisations to drive meaningful change and improve the quality of life for the people of the state.
The engagements signal a renewed push by GIFA to expand its reach and impact through strategic alliances with key stakeholders committed to social and economic development.
