The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) will on Saturday, February 21, 2026, conduct a councillorship bye-election to fill the vacant position in Ohunbe Ward, Yewa North Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Babatunde Osibodu, voting exercise will commence at 8:00a.m to 2:00 p.m.
According to the release, there would be restriction of vehicular movement throughout the voting period within the ward to ensure smooth and orderly process.
It enjoined residents to fully comply with all electoral guidelines and cooperate with officials on duty.
The release stated further that security agents would be
deployed to maintain law and order, while ensuring peaceful conduct.
